Blog Post #3: Summary and Choice of Analysis

Article 1
The main point in “Fish cheeks” is to be yourself and to not
try to be something you are not. The girl in the story is trying to act above
her standards. Doing this made her seem different if she didn’t try to be
something she is not she would have been more relaxed and would have made a
better impression.
Article 2
The main point in “superman and me’ is no matter where you
come from and what race you are do not let other people have an effect on how
you think of yourself and your learning abilities. Don’t let people put you
into a stereotypical group. Just because your Indian does not change your
learning abilities.
2. My analysis between the two are both don’t over shoot
your boundaries and don’t set limits on how far you take yourself in life just
because of what race you are. The first article was more interesting because
she learned a lesson from her mistake yet they both are relatable to what still
goes on today in America.
Very concise summaries. Good job! The one thing I would say watch out for is your run on sentences and grammar mistakes. The run on sentences make the short paragraphs a little wonkey. But other then that great job!

I really enjoyed how you focused more on the lesson in the stories than the actual story. I am curious to know which one you will choose to analyze, but I really liked how you combined both of them in one analysis!
